Vents VCN Series: External wall-mounted steel extractor fans

Centrifugal fans for wall mounting in five nominal sizes: Ø 100 mm, Ø 125 mm, Ø 150 mm, Ø 160 mm, Ø 200 mm

Our wall-mounted extractor fans are built for situations where air must be removed straight to the outdoors with maximum reliability. Installed on the building façade, they are designed to discharge stale air and warm air up to +55°C efficiently - without relying on long internal shafts or complicated routing. With airflow performance of up to 710 m³/h, these fans fit a wide range of residential and commercial spaces, especially where strong extraction and outdoor durability matter most.

The primary benefit of a wall extractor is the direct exhaust path. Odours, moisture, heat and airborne contaminants are removed quickly, improving indoor comfort and supporting a healthier environment. Direct wall extraction can also help reduce condensation, protect surfaces and limit the conditions that encourage mould - particularly in rooms that experience regular humidity or temperature peaks.

Outdoor mounting demands rugged construction. The powder-coated steel housing helps shield the motor from weather exposure and reduces the risk of water ingress. A dedicated lower guard grille provides an extra barrier against birds and rodents, helping keep the installation clean and operational over time. The motor is protected against water and foreign object ingress, supporting stable performance in external conditions.

Inside, the fan uses a single-phase external rotor motor with built-in overheat protection and automatic reset. Ball bearings support a long service life, designed for around 40,000 operating hours. Each impeller is dynamically balanced in production to reduce vibration and contribute to quieter, smoother operation - particularly beneficial on exterior walls where vibration can transfer to the structure.

For additional flexibility, the fan can be combined with optional speed control, either continuously variable or stepped, via a thyristor or transformer controller. This makes it easy to adapt airflow to changing usage patterns. Installation is simple: wall mounting with connection to round ducting. Available nominal diameters are 100, 125, 150, 160 and 200 mm. Power is supplied via external motor terminals, making wiring straightforward for installers. If you’re looking for a robust, high-output solution for direct outdoor discharge, this wall-focused category delivers dependable performance.
