The Westinghouse Industrial ceiling fans feature a summer and winter mode. The quiet motor offers convenient air circulation in different speeds. The Industrial 142 comes with a wall controller.
With the included Westinghouse wall control you can operate your Industrial fan on 4 rotation speeds. The position 0 turns the device off. This wall control is connected to the wiring circuit like a normal light switch and can be done by users with experience in technical installations or an electrician. This type of control system brings certain advantages over a remote control, because it cannot fall and break accidentally and never gets lost.
The ceiling fan in combination with the Westinghouse wall controller offers four rotation speeds: 213 / 192 / 138 / 91 RPM.
A remote control is easy to lose in a large workspace like a garage. A wall controller always stays in the same place.
Summer and winter mode:
The summer setting of the fans provides you with a pleasant fresh breeze on hot days. In the winter a simple flick of the manual switch on the housing reverses the running direction. The fan now spins in the opposite direction, instead of cooling it recirculates warm air from the ceiling and evens out the indoor temperature. This process eliminates and cold spots on the floor, thanks to the recovered heat you save heating costs and do not have to keep fuelling the fireplace.
