It is up to you what type of bulb you are using for the light fixture of the Petite ceiling fan, including popular LED lamps that are known for their durable and energy-efficient properties. Replacing the lamps is no different from changing the bulb in a normal ceiling light. The process is explained in detail in the instruction manual of the Petite. As a precautionary measure it is recommended to cut off the power supply (ideally directly on the fuxe box). Afterwards the mushroom glass can be removed without much effort. Leave the bulb enough time to cool down completely before touching it to prevent bodily harm.

Lighting: 1 x E27 Type A15, max. 60 Watt (bulb not included in the delivery)

  • The lumaire is suitable for bulbs rated energy classes A++ to E!

The Petite hugger-mount fan is perfect for use in rooms with low or suspended ceilings. A minimum distance of 2.30 metres between the floor and the fan blades should still be maintained, though. Thanks to a powerful motor that reaches 273 revolutions per minute this distance is more than enough to create sufficient air circulation.

The reverse winter function, meaning taking in cold air from the ground to mix it with the layer of warm air above. The Petite fulfils all requirements just as much as bigger models, however due to its small size it is more suitable for small rooms. Three speed settings give you the option of adjusting the airflow to the individual situation and to your needs. Despite the velocity the Petite will never create draught, even when using the reverse function (running clockwise). The running direction can be changed by using a slide switch that is located on the motor housing. Depending on the rotation speed the ceiling fan’s power consumption varies but never exceeds 52.4 Watt (not taking account of the lighting).

The Petite ceiling fan can be mounted to all common building materials (except sloping ceilings) thanks to a total weight of ca. 4.7kg. This fan gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to furnishing your interior and making it part of the interior.

The Petite ceiling fan meets both practical and aesthetic demands. On one hand the technical equipment, e.g. reverse winter function, whisper quiet top-quality motor and sleek light fixture leave nothing to be desired. Furthermore, its compact size and slim overall height are other benefits speaking in favour of this device. On top of that the Petite comes with reversible wooden blades that are finished with two colours to help you match your decor. The specific wood grain is imitated to resemble the individual timber, adding a natural look to your home.

The installation of the blades is described step by step in the instruction manual. You can always refer to the manual when you feel like turning over the blades to change the visible colour. Noise-reducing gaskets for mounting the blades to the motor housing are included in the delivery.

Go by your personal taste when choosing the housingWhite lacquered metal is ideal for light-coloured interiors, on the other hand it can also act as a contrast to strong colours on the wall and ceilings. The nickel model has a slightly metallic shine that enhances the brushed finish. The antique brass colour is a classic and goes very well with conventional oak and walnut furniture.

Using the pull cords: Turning the Petite ceiling fan on/off and selecting the rotation speeds is done with a pull cord. Pulling it once starts the fan on the highest speed setting with 273 rpm, pulling it twice slows it down to medium speed on 230 rpm and finally, pulling it a third time activates low speed with 177 rpm. The fan is turned off by pulling it once more, that is four times in total.

Safety instructions: The ceiling fans of the Petite range are rated with an IP20 protection. There is a protection against contact with the conductive parts (electrical parts) and ingress of solid foreign objects above 12.5mm diameter (your fingers, for example). It goes without saying that the fan blades should not be touched when rotating. However, the fan is not protected against water and humidity as you might encounter in bathrooms. Therefore the Petite ceiling fan can only be used in rooms with a common maximum humidity level of 60%. The ceiling fan is put up by a professional electrician.
