Hugger-style ceiling fan

Generally, it is recommended to clear a space of 2.30 between the floor and the blades. Thanks to its low-profile style the Eco Plano is suitable for rooms with low ceiling. However, you should always make sure that the blades can move freely without any obstruction from furniture, curtains or even people. The ceiling must be able to carry a minimum load of 15 kg. Furthermore, the Eco Plano is not suitable for installation on sloping ceilings.

Can be fitted with 2, 3 or 4 blades

The Eco Plano comes with 4 blades and you can decide for yourself how many of them you want to install. It makes little difference whether you put the Plano up with 2, 3 or all 4 blades. Simply choose the design you prefer. Four dark blades for example can appear a bit heavy on a white ceiling and darken the room.

The delivery also includes a little set of weights and clips to attach them to the blades. They are used to even out any possible imbalance.

Eco Plano for large spaces

The Eco Plano is a good choice when it comes to equipping large spaces, e.g. foyers or restaurants. Thanks to its low power consumption and optional LED light kits the Eco Plano operates efficiently at all times. A slow motion feature (slow speed) adds a nice visual touch to bars, etc. In the winter it helps to recover heat by spinning in the different direction.

One Eco Plano fan covers an area of about 22 m2. Upon use of several Eco Plano fans you can cover a bigger area and program all fans in a way that allows you to use just one remote for all fans. Alternatively, you can change radio frequencies of all fans so they all operate independently from each other.

Eco Plano for small spaces

The Eco Plano range is now available in a smaller size of 112 cm which accommodates a surface of up to 15 m2.

Cleaning

Dust and aerosols can be removed with a soft dry cloth or our special ceiling fan duster. The latter has the advantage that it can be attached to a longer pole which means users don’t have to climb a ladder. The Eco Plano ceiling fan requires no technical maintenance, the ball bearings are lubricated permanently. If the fan is used rather often it is recommended to check all screws twice a year and tighten them if necessary.

Optional add-on light kit

The Eco Plano ceiling fan is does not feature any lights. However, it is possible to add an optional CasaFan light kit if you wish. We offer lights in five complementary colours. A 12 W LED kit is already included. With the fan's remote control you can turn the light on, off or dim it to your liking.

About the brand: CasaFan

CasaFan is the first commercial manufacturer of ceiling fan from Germany and was founded in 1984. In 2005 CasaFan developed an energy-efficient ceiling fan with an EC/DC motor. A considerable milestone in the history of the company since these models reduce power consumption by half. Our shop has established a close cooperation with the brand since 2008. CasaFan fans offer customers high quality, sophisticated materials and ease of use.

Faro Nias ceiling fan

The Nias ceiling fan by Faro is another short hugger-style model.

It is only slightly different from the Eco Plano, it moves at 210 RPM and consumes a maximum of 32 Watt.

Nias is delivered with a matt nickel housing and comes with blades in a walnut decor.

It is a good alternative to the Bronze Eco Plano because it still has that darker look with a wooden blade finish but is not so extreme with a metallic motor unit.

Other similar models are the Pemba Faro and Fraser Beacon.
